We require credit/debit card details to secure your reservation. (All card details are held securely) In the unlikely event of you having to cancel your booking, please confirm this cancellation in writing.
Our cancellation policy is as follows if cancellation is made on the day of arrival or in the event of a no-show then 100% of the total amount of the booking is payable • If cancellation is made with less than 5 days notice to staying not including the day you inform us then 50% of the total amount of the booking is payable • If cancellation is made with less than three weeks notice then 25% of the total amount of the booking is payable
If the person making the reservation is different to the person(s) taking up occupation, the person who makes the reservation may be held responsible for non-arrival / damage or loss and monies may be taken from their credit/debit card.
In the interests of security and to prevents fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference; their passport/identity card/driving licence and a valid credit card or debit card which will be swiped in the presence of the cardholder. If guests are travelling from outside the UK, Ireland or any country in the Commonwealth we are also obliged by law to require guests to provide the number and place of issue of their passport/identity card and details of next destination. These records will be kept for at least 12 months and may be disclosed or made available for inspection by any police officer or as otherwise required by applicable laws in connection with the prevention or investigation of crime. The information may be requested for each member of a party over the age of 16 and we reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above.
Accidents happen. Please let us know immediately of any damage or spillage, however caused so we can clean and repair. Any damages will be charged for at the best cost for a replacement of the damaged item/s.
Guests are not permitted to smoke in rooms or public areas. Should you wish to smoke please do so under the veranda of the summerhouse in the garden.
Guests are welcome to check-in from 3:30pm until 9pm. If you are delayed and may be arriving later than 9pm please call to advise us. Check out is from 10:30am. Late check-out can be requested and is subject to availability.
We accept the following methods of payment: credit and debit cards: Visa/ Mastercard, Delta and Visa/Electron. We do not accept American Express or Diners. For advance purchase rates the card you booked with must be presented on arrival, along with the appropriate ID. At the time of check-in, we will authorise the accommodation charges (room rate, VAT and any service charge) and anticipated incidentals for the duration of your stay against your credit/debit card. We may also choose to accept a deposit in place of payment card authorisation by another valid form of payment, including cash or cheque.
Dogs are welcome in the two ground floor rooms. There is a charge for dogs from 1st July 2022 £20 per dog per stay. Please ensure your dog is on a lead when leaving your bedroom, when entering the house and in the garden. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or sofas.
Booking four or more rooms will be classed as exclusive use and a £750 surcharge is payable. A maximum of 1 nights can be booked per surcharge fee. We are open to non-resident guests in our restaurant in the evening, if requesting exclusive use of our dining room or table size of 10 or more we reserve the right to charge £500 surcharge for exclusive use of our restaurant.
We require a 25% deposit at the time of booking, no booking is secured until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is payable in full on check out. If the booking is cancelled, amended or reduced in numbers after confirmation, the 25% deposit can be retained. Deposits are non transferrable to other dates unless agreed in writing at the discretion of the management.
