Ty Mawr’s suppliers read like a ‘who’s who’ taken from the Real Food manifesto highlighting the importance of fresh, quality local produce.
The restaurant’s food is partly organic, and it all contributes to its approach to tasty, wholesome Welsh cuisine simply prepared from the finest ingredients.
Ty Mawr’s chef (and owner) Steve has excellent relationships with local suppliers so that the majority of the ingredients for his dishes come from the valley itself. Welsh Black Beef comes from a nearby farm that has won an award for its meat from the True Taste Wales Food and Drink Awards 2003-4.
